Treatment is only required if the cyst grows larger (over 1 cm) and causes problems, such as difficulty conceiving. In other cases, treatment is unnecessary. Women with cervical cysts should undergo regular gynecological exams, cervical cytology smears, colposcopy, and HPV screening.
A cervical cyst is a common but generally harmless condition. If diagnosed with such a cyst, it is important to monitor its size and undergo regular gynecological check-ups. In rare cases, when the cyst affects conception, treatment may be needed.
